Poems India was founded in 2018 to build itself into a platform to shelter budding Indian poets and make meaningful poetic literature accessible under each roof. Since then, we have grown into one of India’s most dynamic art organizations, representing Indian poetry to a nationwide audience. We are a community of more than 50,000 artists and readers from every nook and corner of the world, knitted together through our passion for the written work of art.

To achieve our purpose of making desired exposure and opportunities available to every writer who seeks it, Poems India organizes online as well offline poetry events in various cities, under the title ‘The Stage is Yours’, where the choicest pieces of art are performed and rejoiced with a vast set of audience. We also invite submissions for our Instagram page which has evolved into a colossal family of creative minds, as well as our furnished website- a walk-in museum of priceless literature- our purpose only to find and publish what speaks the honest language of art and poetry. We have also recently opened our gates to welcome original pieces of long fiction, such as stories, from aspiring writers.

Poems India began with a single vision, to stand with doors open for every poem that seeks to be read and for every artist who wishes to be heard.

Over years, all that began as my little brainchild has evolved into our home- a roof to grow under, to grow beyond. I wanted readers to stumble on the floor of Poems India, and be able to experience the works of writers and carry with them wherever they go. If this were a house, where artists could be listened to and applauded for, I would never visit the door, and this air of talent, potential, creativity and passion is owed to those who create it every single day with their words and let us have the pleasure of housing them in our abode.
Our aim has only ever been to find and publish, not what we consider proficient or notable but what speaks the honest language of art and poetry. I have only longed to make exposure accessible in every nook and corner, to make opportunities available in unlooked-for places as much as expected ones. Words can take form of voices if only there is someone to hear them, and our readers have welcomed every artist and piece of writing with boundless warmth and admiration, which I sincerely treasure."
